Our Brass Begleri Beads are individually machined from solid brass by Butterfield Machine in the USA, creating a compact, satisfying skill toy that's designed to be carried, handled, and enjoyed.
Begleri is a traditional Greek skill toy consisting of two weighted beads connected by a short length of cord. By flipping, swinging, and twirling the beads around your fingers, you can perform a wide variety of tricks and movements.

Hand-Machined Solid Brass Construction
Each begleri bead begins as 1/2-inch solid brass round bar and is individually machined into a smooth, comfortable shape.
At approximately 16 grams per bead, the brass construction provides a satisfying weight and feel during tricks and finger movements. Unlike lightweight plastic alternatives, these solid metal begleri beads offer a substantial feel while remaining compact enough to carry comfortably in your pocket.

Natural Brass Patina
One of the appealing characteristics of solid brass is the natural patina it develops over time.
Freshly machined brass has a bright, golden appearance. With regular handling and exposure to air, the surface gradually darkens and develops a distinctive aged finish. The product photographs show examples of both newly machined beads and beads beginning to develop a natural patina.
If you prefer the original bright finish, the beads can be polished using a suitable brass polish.
