Our Copper Begleri Beads are individually machined from solid copper by Butterfield Machine, creating a compact, satisfying skill toy that's designed to be carried, handled, and enjoyed.
Begleri is a traditional Greek-inspired skill toy consisting of weighted beads connected by a short length of cord. By flipping, swinging, and twirling the beads around your fingers, you can perform a wide variety of tricks and movements.

Hand-Machined Solid Copper Construction
Each begleri bead begins as 1/2-inch solid copper round bar and is individually machined into a smooth, comfortable shape.
At approximately 16 grams per bead, the solid copper construction provides a satisfying weight and feel during tricks and finger movements. The compact design makes these begleri easy to carry in your pocket, keep at your desk, or take along wherever you go.
A Traditional Skill Toy with Modern EDC Appeal

Natural Copper Patina
One of the distinctive characteristics of solid copper is the natural patina it develops over time.
New copper begleri beads have a warm, reddish metallic appearance. With handling and exposure to air, the surface gradually darkens and develops its own unique character.
The product photographs show examples of both newly machined beads and beads beginning to develop a patina. If you prefer the original bright copper finish, the beads can be polished using a suitable copper polish.
